What a year! Time to recharge and get ready for 2017! I chose Vietnam to because I’ve heard from my friends who already went there that it’s nice, and their testimonies show in their pictures. I also know that there are a lot of historical sites and events that took place in Vietnam, which my mom and I were so happy to have seen some of it (we only went to Hanoi or northern Vietnam). My mom was still a baby or a small kid when the war took place in Vietnam that’s why she loves that country, and has a soft heart for it. Our tour guide was very nice, and needless to say, he is updated with the stuff happening in the Philippines, especially with our very controversial President. 🙂 On the first day, we were with people from different countries such England and France.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi & Ha Long Bay
Arrived at the hotel at 2:30 in the morning.. We immediately snoozed because we have to leave for Ha Long Bay at 8 am the next day. We stayed at Golden Silk Hotel in Hanoi.
Off to Ha Long Bay… This was quite a long day, but it was fun.

Vietnamese style cooking demo on Vietnamese Cooking – Steamed Shrimp . It’s a 45 – second Vietnamese cooking of the delicious steamed shrimp using hot stones.
Indeed a long and tiring day but fun! Had a glass of red wine after dinner, and slept at 10:30 (unbelievable haha) because I am trying to target joining the tai – chi class at 6:30 am, which happens every morning, and which I never got to achieve. 🙂 Still, I had to wake – up at 7 am for a very early breakfast.
Day 2 is another adventurous and happy day at Ha Long Bay. 🙂
